If you'd read an earlier blog titled "What are we upto??", I had said that we were beginning this journey only with Malaysia for now. 

Well, what can I say, except that the response has been so good we are already expanding. Now we have distributors in Malaysia and the Kingdom of Bahrain. 

We are exploring various shipping and courier options so we can serve you wherever you are. We are looking at the best possible option so you don't have to pay a bomb on shipping.

Ethnic Trail is already global in the space of a few days! Thank you all so much:) We love you!!

P.S. - On our blog, we have only showcased low to mid-range sarees. We have designers waiting to show off their stuff, wedding sarees and other beautiful products that will be up soon!

So what are we upto here??

Well, for now, I begin this trail serving my beautiful country - Malaysia! Being a Malaysian, I see the need for authentic trendy Indian wear at prices you'd only find in India.

Anything from sarees to salwar material to kurtis and accesories, now, we bring India to Malaysia at harga runtuh!  We save you the trouble of flying to India only to shop, or pestering every other relative/friend to shop for you. 

Setengah produk kami lebih murah daripada harga yang anda dapat di kedai komersial di India. Selain daripada itu, kami juga hanya membeli pakaian yang berkualiti! 

(For those who don't follow the language, I just said our quality and prices are quite competitive when you compare them with showrooms in India.)

Introduction

Our maiden journey begins with the mysterious land of India. We start here simply because it is the one country with an array of diversity in cultures, languages, landscapes and more interestingly, for us, FASHION !

The one thing I am thankful for in this modern age is so beautifully summed up by the Dalai Lama who said,
                   
                  "Today, different ethnic groups and different nations come together due to common sense." 

 And if I may add, FASHION.

Yes, It's true!

Today, you're not always right about a person's roots just judging by their clothing. Most of the major cities around the world have become a melting pot of languages, races, fashion and now it is quite normal for an Arab to wear a saree or an Indian to wear a baju kurung. Hence, the term 'melting pot' is quite literal, and now it is possible for two people with different mindsets or creeds to come together as one. It is possible for humans to be more understanding of the other and more tolerable. Fashion now transcends borders, castes, creed and brings them all to a common creative platform. Maybe, silently it is doing its work in bringing peace in some way!

  एथनिक ट्रेल is the literal phonetic translation of Ethnic Trail in Hindi. 

(Hindi is the national language of India)
